Core Values Centre Management
Brisbane Metropolitan Transport Management Centre

Welcome

Background:

In early 2003 Brisbane City Council, Queensland Transport and Department of Main Roads agreed in principal to the development of a joint, metropolitan traffic and transport management centre. In August of that year all parties formed an alliance and agreed that Council’s planned relocation to Brisbane Square presented an ideal opportunity to align the development of a joint facility with that move.

In December 2006 the BMTMC commenced operations in its entirety from Brisbane Square and the interagency initiative became a reality.
