Role 

  • Translink Busway is a dedicated roadway that separate buses from general traffic, offering commuters a congestion free run on fast, frequent and reliable services.  
  • Translink Busway Operations Centre (BOC) provides a safe and secure busway through the provision of proactive monitoring and incident management services on the Busway infrastructure.

Translink Busway travel offer passengers:

  • Single-seat journey, suburban buses access busway at key locations, providing a point-to-point journey.

  • Purpose-built bus stations, with 24-hour security, ´real-time´ electronic bus information and full accessibility for mobility, visually and hearing impaired people.
  • Personal assistance by our field officer when present on stations.

Commuter Information Services

  • Public transport patrons can access online timetable information for buses, trains and ferries via the TransLink website.  Alternatively, public transport information can be obtained by calling 131230. 
  • Information on upcoming events and service updates can also be obtained through the TransLink website.
